Costume Party

Hey there, partygoers. Have a costume you want to show off? Well here's how to make it good this year.

Number 1, if you want to look cute, don't buy it at a costume store. Create your own costume. First, shop your closet. Then, if there is nothing good in there, go the nearest Goodwill or other second-hand store.

Number 2, once you have your costume, don't buy shoes. See if you have any shoes that might go with the costume. If you don't, ask a friend or a sibling if you can borrow a pair of their shoes for the day.

Number 3, if you want some accessories, try looking at all the accessories you have and see if there is anything that will go with your outfit. Here are some good accessories for Halloween: creepy hats, chunky bracelets, and jingly necklaces. If you are getting dressed for a Christmas or New Year's costume party,  maybe you would want a sparkly green and red mask or possibly some hair accessories like fancy, jingly headbands would be good.

So, try these tips next time you have to be a costume girl.

An Explosion of Style

Sometimes you don't know what to wear. Well, take a look to your right, and you will see the perfect outfit for the night.

This is the perfect outfit because there's a jean jacket. Jean jackets are fashionable, and they are good for both kids and grown ups. The beautiful red dress is so lovely and comfortable. The best part of the red dress is the little purple flowers in the middle. It's the perfect outfit for the fourth of July or any summer night.

If you don't have anything like this at home, then maybe you can go shopping for an outfit. Look for a casual dress like mine. Make sure the dress is in a beautiful color. But don't be tricked. Only choose bright but beautiful colors because those are the best. That's what everyone wants to see because they look stylish.

You will think an outfit like this would be perfect for a date (if you are a grown up) or some other special occasion.

Mix It or Match It

Sometimes people like funky styles but they don't know if it's fashionable or not. This is a picture of how funky styles can be stylish for a kid or an adult. This outfit works because there's a funky t-shirt with a beautiful flowered purple skirt. And the peach socks go great with the Dorothy shoes.

If you're wondering whether to mix it or match it, here's how you do it. Grab your funkiest t-shirt or tank top. Take a funky skirt or leggings. Grab socks or tights. Take out your favorite funky shoes. These steps will help you make sure the outfit goes together:
1. Look at your outfit in the mirror and make sure it does not clash. If it clashes, grab a different top or bottom that would look better.
2. Then look at your socks and shoes. If they don't match, then you will want a new pair of socks or shoes.
3. Ask one of your family members if you look fabulous. And, if you do, you are off and out and ready to go!
